Eujene Cho, Cello
Eujene Cho, a cellist from Seoul, South Korea, is pursuing her master’s at Juilliard studying with Clara Minhye Kim.
She studied at Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and Stony Brook University and earned her bachelor’s in music and business from Ewha Womans University.
As a soloist, Cho has performed in many concerts, including her debut at The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts as first prize and Grand Prix winner of INPASS International Youth Competition, 30th Young Musicians Festival-Concert for Outstanding Performance, Andre Navarra memorial music festival, Young Artists Concert, and her recital at Staller Arts Center and Kukje Art Hall.
Cho appeared as a soloist with Seoul Academy Ensemble and NEC Cello Ensemble at Seoul Arts Center and has won Eumyoun Music Competition and International Artist concours.
As a chamber musician, she participated in Ewha Chamber Music Competition Winners Concert and Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival.
Cho performed with Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra and Deutsche Oper Berlin at Berliner Philharmonie Kammermusiksaal and performed at Tongyeong International Music Festival.
